Spider Assignment, 3D integration in live action
  • This is the Spider Assginment that I did for term 4 at VFS, This is also my first project of integration using Nuke. They gave me the model and rig of the Spider, I did everything else; shading, shooting of plate, tracking, rendering and composition. My biggest challenge with this project was the moment when the spider is coming outside of the mirror, I had to deal with a lot of passes, for example; The shadows of the spider inside the mirror, outside of the mirror and the reflection.  For the mirror effect I used a STMap node with the UV map, then I modified the UV's with radials flares and noise.
